Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the use of The Walt, LLC, vacation rental property (“Property”). By booking and staying at this Property, you (“Guest”, “you”, or “your”) agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Booking and Payment

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or a required deposit.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to book. Accepted forms of payment and cancellation/refund policies are outlined in the booking platform or directly on our website.

2. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in time: 4 p.m.

Check-out time: 10 a.m.

Late check-out may incur additional fees unless previously arranged. Reqeusts for early check in or late check out may be requested, but there is no guarantee that they will be honored.

3. House Rules

Guests agree to the following:

Occupancy: Do not exceed the maximum number of guests allowed (14)

Noise: Respect quiet hours from 10 pm–8 am.

Smoking/Vaping: Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside the premises, but it allowed outside of the home.

Pets: Pets are not permitted.

Parties/Events: No parties or events.

Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.

Cleanliness: Leave the Property in a clean and tidy condition.

Violation of house rules may result in additonal charges, and in very rare severe cases, immediate termination of your stay without a refund.

4. Use of Property

The Property is for residential vacation use only. Commercial use or subleasing is strictly prohibited. Illegal activity on the premises is strictly forbidden and will be reported to authorities.

5. Liability and Damages

Guests stay at the Property at their own risk. We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss/damage of personal property.

Any damage to the Property must be reported immediately. Charges may apply for repair or replacement.

6. Pool Waiver of Liability

By renting this property, guest understands that use of the pool by the guest and others staying at the property is at guest's own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the pool and the area around the pool.

Guest accepts full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the pool by any guests staying on property, and that the property owner is not responsible for any such injuries.

Guest understands there are potential dangers that the pool may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as danger to any person using the pool if a person has health risks, using while intoxicated, using any kind of drugs or medication, or pregnant. Guests agree to be fully responsible for any accidents guests may incur.

Guest understands that there is a child-lock fence around the property and it is the guests' responsibility to latch the pool gate for it to be effective.

Guest understands the risks discussed above and agrees that all guests on property will assume responsibility for and the consequences of those risks. Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against owner or The Walt, LLC for accidents or claims arising from guests’ use of the pool.

7. Maintenance and Access

The Host or authorized personnel may enter the Property for maintenance or inspection with reasonable notice (except in emergencies). Guests must not interfere with or disable smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, exterior security cameras, or other safety devices.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Refer to the cancellation and refund policy provided on the booking platform or in your confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., mandatory evacuation, emergency damage, etc.) and will issue a full refund in such cases.

9. Hurricane Season

Hurricane season is June 1–November 30. If traveling during these dates, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes coverage for natural disasters. While hurricanes rarely impact the Orlando area, they may impact your personal travel getting to the area. Refunds are not provided for weather-related trip delays, unless there is an evacuation order in the vicinity of this property. Travel insurance can protect you from circumstances that may hinder you getting to the property, such as flight delays or cancellations.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect and handle your data.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
